Left Clyde at the office holding down the fort and headed out to Eastside Cafe to fuel up for what’s going to be a busy day at The PiP.

We’re putting the final touches on the Mayes County Football Preview and making plans for this week’s What’s Up Wednesday with the gang. Lots going on, so coffee and a good breakfast were definitely in order.

If you’re looking for some good food, hot coffee and even better conversation, head out to Eastside Cafe. And while you’re there, grab a copy of The PiP and catch up on what’s happening around Mayes County.

I’m sure Clyde will want an explanation for why he didn’t get invited. 🐾😂

Clyde really should have been supervising paper delivery today. 😂

But we finally made it to the last stop — Wagon Stop on Hwy 69, right next to Arvest!

They’ve got new owners, a nice clean store, and even new prices on Chester’s Chicken. So if you’re out and about, stop in, grab some chicken, a drink, maybe a copy of The PiP, and give the new owners a BIG small-town hello. Be sure to tell them The PiP sent you!

I’m pretty sure next week when Clyde takes over deliveries, he’ll have to inspect the place himself and hand out the official “Clyde Approved” stamp.

Of course, I’m not entirely sure that stamp actually exists yet. 🐾😂

We sure appreciate Wagon Stop giving The PiP a spot in their store. Supporting local businesses that support other local businesses is what small-town life is all about.

It’s always good to see a local business investing back into its property and making improvements.

Shamrock at the corner of Graham and Elliott may not have fuel available right now, but they’re still open for business. Stop in, grab a cold drink, pick up something to eat and, while you’re there, grab the latest copy of The PiP.

Small improvements add up, and it’s exciting to see the growth happening around Pryor Creek.

Well, it looks like something may finally be stirring at the future home of Pryor’s new QT.

No dirt has moved yet, but Ark Wrecking’s track hoe has arrived at the corner of Highway 69 and South First Street.

Naturally, Clyde had to stop by for an inspection. 😂🐾

Maybe the facelift is getting a little closer.
