✨ Mom life and sleep deprivation ✨

Let’s be real… moms are basically professional zombies who run on love, caffeine, and sheer willpower. Whether it’s midnight feedings, toddler nightmares, or just a brain that won’t turn off, sleep often feels like a luxury we only dream about (pun intended).

But here’s the thing: even when we’re exhausted, we still show up. We still keep the house running, keep little humans alive, and keep giving from a cup that feels empty. That’s nothing short of superhero work.

When the sleep deprivation hits hard, here are a few ways to survive:
☕ Embrace the coffee (or tea, or matcha,whatever fuels you).
🛋 Power naps are magic,10 minutes can reset your whole day.
💪 Don’t be afraid to say “yes” to help or “no” to extra commitments.
😂 Laugh through the chaos,sometimes humor really is the best medicine.
💖 And most importantly, give yourself grace. You’re doing amazing, even if you feel like a tired mess.

So here’s to all the sleep-deprived moms out there: may your coffee be strong, your kids nap long, and your patience last longer than your to-do list.

The backpacks are packed, the pencils are sharpened, and just like that, our kids are back in school.

Whether you sent them off with a lump in your throat or a cheer in your heart (or maybe a little of both), this new school year is a fresh chapter for all of us. It’s a season of learning, growing, and finding our rhythm again.

Let’s cheer on our kids as they tackle new challenges, meet new friends, and discover new passions. And let’s remember to give ourselves grace as parents too. We’re learning right alongside them,navigating schedules, homework, and those “I forgot I have a project due tomorrow” moments.

Here’s to a year filled with courage, kindness, and confidence for our kids… and maybe a few quiet cups of coffee for us. We’ve got this!

Dear School Year 2025-2026,

Please be kind to our children.

Please be gentle on their hearts and patient with their struggles.

Please remind them that they matter, they are worthy, and they belong.

Please ease their worry and anxiety, and strengthen their confidence and independence.

Please help them nurture a love of learning, or discover it in a new way.

Please let them find teachers and coaches and administrators who cheer them on.

Please guide them to friends with whom they can be their authentic, best selves.

Please give them access to the right resources so that each of them can succeed.

Please don’t let them ever forget how unconditionally loved they are.

Please keep them safe.

Please let them come home.

And please protect the heart of every mother learning to let go,

One school year at a time.

Last night’s Pour Up Zoom call was EVERYTHING! 🥂 We laughed, we chatted, and we got to hang out with some of the most amazing people! 💖
We’re so grateful to everyone who registered and joined us. Your energy made it feel like we were all sitting around the same table, glass in hand, just vibing. 🎉
And guess what? This wasn’t a one-time thing! Pour Up nights are officially going to be monthly, so if you missed this one, don’t worry—there’s more wine and good conversation coming your way. We’ll be smoothing out a few of the little tech hiccups from last night (Zoom tried to be the fourth cohost 🤦‍♀️), so the next one will run even more smoothly.
