Ate a reasonable breakfast.

Connected people with some resources.

Drove someone to a (hopefully successful!) job interview.

Advocated for a child’s best interest through a meaningful conversation with a caseworker.

Caught up (kinda) on paperwork.

Worked on building a new curriculum that I’m CRAZY excited about!!!

Called & chatted with a good friend 🥰

Did homework in Macroeconomics, Stats, and Social Work classes.

Drank my water.

I’m going to bed, y’all… I’m pooped!

What an INCREDIBLE day of outreach, connection & community 🥰

I need to hire a person to follow me around on days like today and take photos of all the stuff I want captured in photos but don’t want to disconnect from the moment and pull out my phone or camera!

Anyone else struggle with this? Finding the balance between being in the moment and capturing the moment?

Hangin’ out with all my new best friends at the tire shop 😉 Commuting & using my car for outreach & community support means making sure it’s in tip top shape. I’m not a fan of having to interrupt my week for regular maintenance, but as I sit in this waiting room, I’m reminded that there’s a lesson in EVERYTHING - and that preventative maintenance, on our vehicles… bodies… relationships… spirits… is vitally important 🙏
