Heads Up: School’s Back Friday

That means the 8a & 3p traffic jams are back too - especially near schools. Yes, Hwy 8 will once again feel like a parking lot. I drive it daily. I suffer with you.

Also, trains have apparently joined the chaos. More of them. Three in the past 30 minutes. Longer stops. Perfect timing, right?

Plan ahead, pack patience, and maybe keep snacks in the car.

Oh - and don’t forget to thank a teacher this week. Not for putting up with your angelic kid … but your friend’s kid. You know the one.

Another One for the Record Books…
Today makes 39 straight days at or above 90°, officially breaking the all-time record set back in 1993. July is now on pace to finish as one of the top 5 hottest months ever in our area — and summer overall is climbing the charts too.

😅 I’ll be glad when we stop breaking records. But hang in there — a refreshing taste of fall arrives this weekend with highs in the 70s! 🍂🙌
