Turning my Brown Thumb Green 🌱 my first year with a veggie garden went really well! I planted tomatoes (two varieties), green beens, peppers (two varieties), cucumbers, zucchinis, luffas and an herb garden.
Tomatoes & peppers - very successful & large yields. Lots of goodies prepped & in the freezer
Cucumbers & zucchini - small yields, lost most of the plants to pests. Will start with pest control earlier in the season next year!
Luffas - still growing amazing! They’ll be on the vine until early fall, so stay tuned for a harvest
Herbs: truly so easy & rewarding! I cooked with lots of fresh herbs & made tinctures. Definitely had more than I could use, so I plan to prep better next year to preserve.
I also grew potatoes (not pictured) and that was successful as well. More garden learnings to come!
