It's my little widdle's birthday today. Can't believe you're 6 already. I swear it just flew by. Watching you grow into who you are has been one of my favorite parts of motherhood. Love you baby.

Made my coaching debut at girls flag football with my Nyomi today! 🏈🏆 And the team came out and WON our first game. I've always just worked out with the kids, never actually coached their rec teams. Honestly? Some of it was not wanting to deal with other parents. Some of it was nerves. And a big part of it was knowing how competitive I am. I was scared I'd go full drill sergeant on them. 😬🤣 I kind of wanted to keep mom and coach separate. But this year I decided to take the chance. Did my certifications over the summer, took the step, and volunteered. First game: a win.

My big baby. 🎵🤍 She's been playing since she was 3, in band since 4th grade. Took a hiatus her freshman year and I let her. Sometimes you have to let them go explore. If they really love it, they'll come back. She did. And watching her walk back into that band room last year... Everything!
