Have you ever had someone share a website with you on social media but the image showed up looking funny? There's a specific way to set this up - This image is called an Open Graph image, and the proper size should be 1200 by 630 pixels. Usually this gets messed up for people because they just upload their square shaped logo and by default the system blows it out of proportion to try to fit the space.

You can hop right into canva (for free) and upload your logo to make an image that is the proper size!

Not sure what yours looks like currently? Head on over to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ - Here you can type in the URL you are wondering about and see how it pops up, complete with meta information.

These are easy checks to make sure that your branding is representing your business properly and things are showing up the way you think when you share them! ✨💅👩‍💻

Looking for something to check off your website to-do list today? Make sure that you have a Favicon uploaded for website! What exactly is a favicon, you ask? It is the tiny image next to your website name in your internet browser. It's important because it's another opportunity for uniform branding for your business. Ultimately, it gives your website and brand that polished look.

What happens if you don't have one? Well you may come across websites that have the Squarespace, Wix, or Wordpress logo instead of yours when people go to your website. While this might not seem like a huge deal, it often tells site visitors that you are editing and maintaining your website yourself, rather than using a professional service. This might not seem like a huge deal, but it's one of those little components that helps potential customers build an image of your business and professionalism in their mind as they are deciding whether or not to do business with you.

So, how do you update it? This varies from website host to website host, but you should be able to get some simple instructions on how to do it with a little help from ChatGPT. Usually it entails logging in to where your website is hosted and finding where you can update the Favicon image.
