It's been a minute guys, and I'm coming up for air before the holidays! Wanted to say HELLO! I'm Al, Allie, Allison, Mommy, your friendly reliable local web designer and marketing strategist. I'm a Mama of 3 littles, love learning new techy skills, am obsessed with good sushi, and spending time on the beach with my family. I'm also obsessed with making my clients websites WORK for their businesses. I love brainstorming marketing ideas and teaching my clients things that they didn't know about how websites and SEO work. I love helping them be accountable to their businesses and themselves. I've run into a couple new clients lately that were burned by past designers, and I'm here to be the reliability that you never knew you needed. Negative reviews are just a part of business, and Google wants to know that you handle them like a professional when it comes to your business. Don't just ignore them! Respond - Let the client know you're happy to try to work with them, or you're sorry it didn't work out - Whatever the case is. HOWEVER - People leaving reviews on your business should be ACTUAL CLIENTS. If someone leaves you a review who has never even been a client, make sure to report it! You never know, Google might just agree with you!

Wordpress may be great in some ways, but these vulnerabilities continue to sway us away from building sites there. We'd rather spend our time enhancing your website's content and improve your conversions, not spend all of our time just keeping it functioning!

Have you ever had someone share a website with you on social media but the image showed up looking funny? There's a specific way to set this up - This image is called an Open Graph image, and the proper size should be 1200 by 630 pixels. Usually this gets messed up for people because they just upload their square shaped logo and by default the system blows it out of proportion to try to fit the space.

You can hop right into canva (for free) and upload your logo to make an image that is the proper size!

Not sure what yours looks like currently? Head on over to https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ - Here you can type in the URL you are wondering about and see how it pops up, complete with meta information.
