I spent hours going through my phone looking for pics and videos of you by yourself. But I could barely find any.
And I don't think anything could be a better nod to who you are.
You're the most selfless person I know.
You'll stop what you're doing to wrestle with the boys when they're bored.
You'll come up with a stupid game to distract me from depressive episodes.
You'll move states so our family can "try something new".
You'll become a homeschooling dad and give up 90% of your sanity so our kids can be better heard.
You'll hype up and support anyone you know and give just as much love and kindness to anyone you don't.
You'll spend hours each day ideating on skits just to make people laugh in the middle of their day.
You're always telling me how good of a person I am and how lucky you are. But I push back every time. Because I've seen your heart. Known it for 12 years now. And nothing compares.
Happy birthday, baby. We're so lucky to get to experience this life with you.
