25 Years Later, We Still Remember. 🇺🇸

September 11, 2001, remains one of the darkest and most unforgettable days in American history. As the nation marks the 25th anniversary of 9/11, communities continue to honor the thousands of innocent people who lost their lives and the brave first responders who ran toward danger when others were trying to escape.

This memorial display pays tribute to the FDNY firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to the attacks on the World Trade Center. Among the faces remembered here is Firefighter Thomas Hetzel of Ladder 13, who was 33 years old when he lost his life on September 11, 2001.

The photographs, flowers, American flags, and firefighter tributes serve as a powerful reminder that behind every name was a person—a family member, a friend, a colleague, and a hero.

Their courage, sacrifice, and dedication will never be forgotten.

25 years later, America remembers.
We honor the fallen.
We remember the heroes.
We will never forget. 🇺🇸🕊️
