Clarity Audio Productions Clarity Productions is the recording studio of Blake Matthews and is based just outside of Raleigh. We offer tracking, editing mixing and mastering services for artists and occasionally local business as well.

Blake Matthews first became interested in recording at the age of 12, experimenting with multitrack guitar recording by using multiple cassette players. He began to be very active in the local music scene in 2006 after forming his first band. After experimented with his own musical projects and working with a variety of engineers, he began recording artists professionally in 2015. Having worked in a variety of less than ideal locations, he moved his recording studio at the end of 2017 to start Clarity Productions. Clarity Productions is a streamlined recording studio focused on having the right tools to create the modern professional standard at an affordable price.

Mission: To offer reliability, open communication, a great recording experience and a great end product at an affordable price.

Stairwell Reverb Chamber

Check out the cool sounds from this stairwell I use as a natural reverb chamber when I need a cool and unique sound. My guess is that it's about 20 feet from floor to ceiling. This is a clip of Chris Kmak recording a cool outro to a track we are working on.

January was a crazy busy month! I finished getting everything at the studio setup, tracked Sons Of Sam, Chris Kmak and started work on a song with Mitch McCall (and tried to work on my own music here and there as well). February is gearing up to be pretty busy too. Mixing a TV commercial today, wrapping up Sons Of Sam's mixes this week and finishing up the edits on Chris' track. I've got Atlantic Lungs coming in soon as well! My friend Becky is killing it on getting the studio's website together! There's still some openings in March available for anyone looking to make some awesome music!
