POV: your first film photography experience turns into a storytime instead🤣🎞️

We knew the risks of using Walmart for our first test rolls… but somehow it still got worse than expected lol. Definitely learned a lot from this one.

Second attempt at film photography🤣

This time around, I’m shooting with my Nikon EM on Fujifilm 400 ISO film and hopefully this roll has a happier ending than my first experience with my Nikkormat 🥲

The first time I shot film, some of the photos actually turned out pretty good, but somewhere along the process, my negatives were lost. I got physical prints back, but no scans, no digital copies, and no way to preserve those moments beyond the prints themselves. Definitely a heartbreaking lesson in the unpredictability of film photography. A storytime video is coming on that!

But honestly… that’s part of what makes film so special. You slow down. You trust the process. You learn as you go.

So here’s to attempt number two!
Hopefully the results will be coming soon and if all goes well, I’ll be sharing them in a future video very soon.
