WHAT IS A SEW IN?: A sew-in weave is a technique used to add hair extensions onto one's natural hair to create fuller, longer hair. Sew-ins are achieved by braiding the natural hair into a cornrow pattern and using a sewing needle to sew a weft, or track, of hair extensions.
SHOULD I COME SHAMPOOED?:
yes when you are getting a sew in I like for your to be shampooed, dried and free of all product! If you would like me to shampoo your hair just add (shampoo) to your service so it will fit in your service time duration.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A SEW IN AND A QUICK WEAVE?:
A sew in is a sew in and a quick weave is glue!
WILL THE GLUE PULL OUT MY HAIR NO! If it’s removed correctly you shouldn’t have any hair loss.
WHATS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PARTIAL SEW IN AND FULL HEAD SEW IN?:
A partial is some hair left out enough to cover the tracks and a full head is no hair out.
IS A FULL HEAD SEW IN THE SAME AS A LACE CLOSURE APPLICATION?:
No! A Lace closures are hairpieces where hair strands are tied on a beige or dark brown lace. lace closures are a few inches wide (4x4 or 5x5 and they are applied where the hair would have been left to give a natural look Lace closures sew in have visible knots and a stretcher base. A full head is no hair out and no natural part.
SHOULD I RELAX MY HAIR BEFORE ARRIVING?:
I do NOT recommend you doing your own relaxer! A relaxer should be applied by a professional only!! But if u must! I suggest only relaxing the part you want to leave out and your edges! IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE TO RELAX YOUR WHOLE HEAD!
Relaxing your whole head may cause breakage due to, to much tension. Your hair will then be thinner and may break easy!!!!!
HOW MANY PACKS OR BUNDLES DO I NEED FOR A SEW IN?:
10- 16” 2 packs of 3 bundles
18- 20” 3 packs or 3 bundles
20”-24” 3packs 3 bundles will do the job but in suggest 4 bundles because the longer the hair the less is in the bundle!
WHAT TYPE OF HAIR DO I GET FOR A SEW IN? If you are a newbie and would like store brought hair here are the brands I suggest:
