Tonight’s treasure hunt unlocked PURE 1980s nostalgia! 🍓✨

Look what the Loot Bandits dug up — a whole little gang of vintage Strawberry Shortcake dolls and friends from 1979!

These sweet girls were originally created by American Greetings
before becoming one of the biggest toy crazes of the 80s. Some still have their original hats, outfits, and tiny accessories tucked away in the box! 🥹

There is just something magical about vintage toys like this. The little striped stockings, the yarn curls, the soft pastel colors… instant childhood memories.

And yes… some of them STILL smell faintly fruity after all these years. 🍋🫐🍓

One of my favorite parts of doing this business is finding pieces that make people suddenly say:
“I HAD THAT!!”

That moment never gets old. ❤️

Today’s favorite find from a storage unit cleanout: this vintage mechanical Mickey Mouse watch by Ingersoll.

Yes… it still runs. Strong tick, hand-wind movement, and Mickey’s arms still keep time like they were meant to.

These are the kinds of treasures that make the hunt worth it.

This gorgeous mink coat almost went to the landfill; we thought she was too far gone! 😮

Now “Mrs. Howell” hangs in the light getting more beautiful every day — the mink growing richer, the sheen returning, the color deepening.

And the pearls? Also vintage, rescued from another estate unit.

Sometimes beautiful old things seem to find each other, and I am here for it. ✨ Bonus points if you get the Mrs. Howell reference. 😄 Let me know in the comments!
