Friday night dinner plans: officially brought to you by takeout. 🌮🍗

After a long week of work, appointments, laundry, dishes, and all the other things nobody puts on a to-do list, sometimes the best dinner is the one someone else cooks.

No fancy meals. No perfectly cleaned kitchen. Just feeding the family and calling it a win. 🙌

Tell me I'm not the only one whose Friday night meal plan is "whatever requires the least effort." 😂👇

Nobody warned me that one of the biggest parts of parenting teenagers is becoming their full-time chauffeur. 🚗
Some days I feel like I spend more time in the driver's seat than anywhere else. And somehow we're always running late. 😂
The days are long, but watching them grow up is happening way too fast. So for now, I'll keep making the trips, singing along to the radio, and soaking up the conversations that happen between destinations.
Any other parents feel like they live in their car these days? 👇

Slow, rainy mornings and a quiet house hit different ☕️🌧️
With summer break in full swing and my husband working third shift, our nights are a little chaotic… which means my mornings usually start with a sink full of dishes and snack evidence from everyone’s late-night kitchen trips.
But I’ve honestly come to love this part of the routine.
Before the emails, before the to-do list, before the “Mom, where’s my…” starts… it’s just me, my coffee, the rain, and a few quiet minutes to reset the house and my mind.
It’s not fancy. It’s not perfect. But it’s real life right now.
Moms—be honest… are you team “I need a quiet morning” or team “give me chaos and coffee at the same time”? 👇

Last night's vlog is a little late because apparently I can't remember appointments OR post my videos on time. 😅
But here's a glimpse of a pretty typical evening around here. Dinner, cleaning up the kitchen, getting things ready for the next day, and trying to enjoy a few quiet moments before doing it all again.
Some days are exciting. Most days are just real life.
And honestly, I think that's the stuff most of us can relate to.
Question for the moms: do you do a weekly leftover night too?👇

I swear my kids can hear when I finish cleaning the kitchen from three rooms away. 😂
Tell me I'm not the only one whose kitchen becomes a snack station the second it's spotless.

No makeup, swapped coffee for energy drink.. must be a busy day.

This mornings breakfast is my current hyper fixation.. ham, egg and cheddar on an English muffin. With my coffee of course. Do you tend to have the same thing on repeat or do you switch it by day?

A good morning doesn't mean everything is perfect—it just means I got a little head start. ☕️
This morning I got ready, hopped on the treadmill to get some steps in, loaded the dishwasher, took out the trash, and knocked out a few things around the house before logging into my work-from-home job.
As a working mom, I've learned that even a few productive minutes before the workday starts can make the entire day feel less chaotic.
Anyone else try to squeeze a whole day's worth of tasks into the morning before work? 😂

I am definitely not a garden mom but she can grow some zucchini apparently 🤣 🪴 ✨

Just a normal evening in our house. ❤️
After a full day of work, it's time for dinner, catching up with the family, cleaning up the kitchen, and getting everything ready to do it all again tomorrow.
These aren't the glamorous moments, but they're the ones that make up real life. As a working mom, the evening shift can sometimes feel just as busy as the workday itself, but I wouldn't trade these moments with my family.
If you're in the thick of dinner, dishes, homework, bedtime routines, or simply trying to make it through the evening, you're not alone.
What does your typical weeknight look like?
