🎉 Two Years of "Eventually" 🎉

Two years ago today, we had the honor of recording and mixing the debut album Eventually by Sammy B Live Music — and what a journey it's been watching this album find its audience.

There's something special about being part of bringing an artist's vision to life, and this project was no exception. From first takes to final mixes, every moment in the studio was a reminder of why we do what we do.

Cheers to Sammy B, and cheers to everyone who's pressed play over the past two years. Here's to the music that stays with us. 🎧

Six Years of The Underground!

This week we're celebrating 6 years of The Underground Recording Studio, and what a year it's been.

2025 brought a wonderful mix of projects through the studio. We kicked off the year with a burst of energy — The Sleepy Weasels dropped their single Fever Dream, Rick Redington & Tuff Luv released their album Supermoon, and Bobby Gosh delivered the unforgettable Eat the W**d (Don't Smoke It). Spring saw Kristian Montgomery and the Winterkill Band release their EP Prophets of the Apocalypse, followed by Jonny Hick and the Kickers capturing the magic of a live show with their Live from The Underground EP. Over the summer, Fez Silk shared the beautiful Cornmarket Street, and we closed out the year with Magic User's debut album *FREE PILE — a project I'm especially proud of.

To top it off, The Underground was voted Best Recording Studio in Vermont in the 2025 Seven Daysies. That recognition means the world, and it's a reflection of the incredible artists who trust us with their music.

This year was also deeply personal — I took some time away from the studio to welcome my daughter Annika into the world. Now I'm back behind the console, and I couldn't be more excited about what's ahead. There are some great projects in the pipeline, and I can't wait to share more music with you in 2026.

A huge thank you to Michel Doucet for his incredible mastering work on these projects. He's been a trusted collaborator and a big part of what makes these records sound so good. And to my family and community — thank you for your endless support, especially this year.

Thank you to every musician who trusted us with your music. Here's to year seven.

🎶 Four years ago today, Sammy B Live Music released *Family Ties* — an EP we had the pleasure of recording and mixing here at The Underground.

Sammy is a very talented musician, and this collection captures what the title promises: connections to both his immediate family and his music community. It's a heartfelt project that still holds up.
