I haven’t posted a before and after in a bit. But I do try to do my makeup everyday and most times completely forget to get the before.

Today I was tired (still am!) and you can really see it in my eyes. but my capsule from Restore Collective makes me looks - alive, awake, put together… human! Even when I may not feel any of those things inside. Today was one of those days that I looked out together but needed 2 coffees to help me keep functioning.

We can’t always be fully put together all the time but it certainly helps to look like it!

When someone recommends a movie or a book… that’s easily accepted . Meanwhile celebrities, publishers and film makers are all making money off of that recommendation. But when someone starts sharing about products that work for them their families and you can see major results …it’s tabu to support them because they are making money from sharing. That logic just doesn’t work … supporting celebrities who create advertising but not supporting a friend or someone you know who is doing the same thing… make it make sense!

Whether or not I make any income off of a recommendation… that won’t stop me from sharing things that work or that I like. I also do the flip side of… talk about what doesn’t work or what is a waste of $ or time.

All the products I use is because I really believe in them. I see my own transformation. I try to capture that.. a middle age woman, with all the typical struggles. Finding things that work, make me happy and that have changed me (for the better!)

I’d expect nothing less from my own friends and support them!

We are in this journey together.

While it may be well meaning… experiencing hair loss can be soul crushing. Women are tied to their hair and hairstyles but when your body fails … hormonal, nutrient deficiency…. Genetics. Finding something that helps is impossible for some

Wigs have allowed me to feel like me again. Allowed me to enjoy a new hairstyle without the 2 hr salon visit

It boosts one’s confidence in so many ways.

Ofcourse there was fear in the beginning but time, trial and error and plain old determination can make it easier.

Not all wigs are created equal but neither are all hairstylists… just keep trying to find the one that works for you. In time your hair stash could be more than the # of shoes you own.
