This page is all about J1 or International Student living in United States. A J-1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa that allows people to participate in educational and cultural exchange programs in the United States. The program is intended to promote the exchan
ge of knowledge, skills, and people between the United States and other countries
( J1 is a student visa consist of two category. )
1st is the Working & Travel Program, this visa is allowing students to work in the United States legally for three months and one month to Travel part of the J1 program activities.
2nd is the Internship Program which allowed students to work for one year in the United States or it can be extended to another six months for total of eighteen months maximum to work legally inside the US.
