Thank you so much for your support over the past two years. I have loved publishing news and information for Raton and the surrounding area. But I've made the decision to close The Ratonian. Caring for my husband Hal, who has stage 4 lung cancer, and taking care of the home, yard, and pets is just too much to keep trying to publish the news too. I've been so stressed and I need to take care of myself so I can take care of Hal.

The website will go down as well. Hopefully someone will see the need to provide online news for Raton other than through social media.
