Quite a view up here at the top of the Berks County Services Center. Good news: I met with Commissioner Christian Y Leinbach this morning and we discussed the upcoming Courthouse renovation project. I was able to get his commitment to supporting adding exterior lighting to the scope of work for this project. Obviously, we still need to get the other Commissioners on board, and the restoration is still early in the planning phase, but I see this as a huge step forward to having the lights atop the Courthouse lit once more. Thank you to Commissioner Leinbach for his support and to everyone who stepped up and made your opinion on the matter known. Together we will get this done.
