Thank you, Redding Roots Revival , for having us! We had the best time volunteering at the beer & wine booth and keeping the drinks pouring all night.

Tonight was PACKED, the turnout was amazing, and the vibes and music were even better. Such a fun night all around!

Meet Taylor Gowen ! 👋 One of the incredible humans who makes up Community Alliance Network. Owner of The Social Event Co.

Family and community are at the heart of what Taylor does. She’s passionate about bringing people together, creating opportunities for local businesses and organizations, and being someone others can count on.

She especially loves supporting kids and helping the next generation find success, happiness and positive outlets through sports. Serving on the Sports Boosters board has been one of her favorite ways to give back.

When she’s not working or volunteering, you might find her making memories with her girls, snowboarding, golfing, boating, shopping, traveling, tackling a house project—or behind the camera taking photos and creating content. 📸

And here’s something you might not know…

🤫 Despite being involved in SO many things, Taylor is actually pretty reserved when she first walks into a room! She’s usually quietly taking everything in before jumping into the conversation.

She also admits she has a pretty hard time saying no when someone needs help… which might explain how she’s ended up involved in so many projects and events over the years. 😂

When we asked Taylor what she loves about being part of CAN, she summed it up beautifully:

“I truly believe a strong community is built when people are willing to show up for each other.”

And Taylor is definitely one of those people who shows up. 💛

We’re grateful to have her as part of CAN and part of a group of people committed to making our community a little better together.

A huge thank you to Everyday Fitness and co-owner Tonja Donoho for participating in and helping plan this year’s Locked Up for Youth event!

Tonja was one of the “arrestees” and clearly had her escape plan ready because she made bail before the event even started! 😂

Thank you, Tonja, for stepping up, helping bring this event together, and supporting Youth Options Shasta.

And thank you to everyone who donated, shared, participated, and helped us raise money for such an incredible cause. It truly takes a community, and ours showed up in a big way!

Last week, we partnered with Youth Options Shasta and so many amazing local organizations and businesses to come together for Locked Up for Youth.

The “arrestees” were locked up and had to raise at least $1,500 each to make bail. Together, they went above and beyond and raised an incredible $32,000 for Youth Options Shasta!

This event was such a great reminder of what can happen when our community comes together to support the youth in our area.

We’re officially excited to announce that we just signed Mr. Love to a one year contract to help run his social media as he navigates his first NFL season. 🏈

Content strategy? Handled.
Game day coverage? Obviously.
Keeping him from posting something questionable at 2 a.m.? We’re working on it.

Had such a great time working alongside Rosie Limon from Woodside Grill & Gaia Hotel and Spa over the weekend! Not only did we get to help her show off her incredible skills, but she also took home First Place for Redding’s Best Cocktail at Tipsy Taco!
