Today, we remember America and the heroes of this great nation. 🇺🇸
On September 11, 2001, our world changed forever. Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were lost in the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Flight 93. Families, first responders, and countless everyday heroes showed courage in the face of unthinkable tragedy.
A few things you may not know:
• The Twin Towers stood for 28 years before they fell.
• 343 firefighters and 72 law enforcement officers gave their lives trying to save others.
• More than 90 countries lost citizens that day, reminding us it was not just an American tragedy, but a human one.
• Flight 93 passengers fought back, preventing an even greater loss in Washington, D.C.
It’s been over two decades, yet the memories and lessons of that day remain. Today we honor the lives lost, the bravery shown, and the resilience that carried us forward.
We will never forget.
