Harm at a distance has always been an enticing proposition. Ancient humans also sought such remedies to prickly problems. To craft a stand-in of your enemy upon which you can inflict the desired damage symbolically: Probably to satisfy a much needed emotional release. This must have been almost instinctual. Even the mechanics of crafting the effigy with the hands strikes me as so utterly natural. I have a deep sense that the whole business of pins in dolls seems to be to be almost a natural, predictable consequence of human creativity + interpersonal dynamics + that very human instinct that we have within a touch of the numinous.
I do wonder what that first proto-sorcerer thought when their angry doll therapy resulted in a very tangible consequence for their target.

Today my mind is flooded with memories of the supernormal. Experiences witnessed by myself (and often others too), that completely defy rational explanation. What Pazuzu famously referred to as vulgar displays of power. Directed by unseen hands and intentions.

I will begin:
When I was 16 years old , in the midst of an argument with my then girlfriend: Our spat was taking place in the hallway of my home. I chose at some point during the arguing to leave the immediate vicinity so I walked down the long hallway and entered my bedroom. My stride was interrupted by a sound that I can only describe as being probably close to how it sounds when a gr***de explodes near your home. Every wall shook violently, the house shimmied, it was a massive massive calamitous sound.

So I turned around walked back towards the hallway to see what was going on, and when I stepped into the door frame I saw my girlfriend, ghost white in complexion, with an expression of helpless horror frozen on her face. Her feet lifted up approximately 12 inches off of the ground, apparently pinned to the wall by her throat. Her hands ineffectually struggling against the powerful grip of something that was completely invisible to my eyes. She wiggled and gasped like helpless prey. It took me about five full seconds to realize what I was seeing and come to terms with it and decide on a course of action which was to yell loudly at the unseen hands: "NO!". For whatever reason this affected her release which saw her fall to the ground and then crumple into a heap against the hallway wall sobbing and gasping. As I kneel down to check her to make sure that she was okay and to console her she began screaming and pounding on my chest accusing me of having set the unseen Force against her because we were arguing. I was horrified at the insinuation, I was horrified that she would think that of me, and the experience stained the rest of our years together in ways that were tragic and unforseen by me.

Unfortunately it wouldn't be the last time that I was accused of setting in motion supernatural abuses or atrocities. I maintain my innocence.

The Minor Rites of Az**el

Some time ago I was attempting to provide some direction for working with Az**el to a fellow member in a LHP FB group. Thus began the unintended fall down the Az**elian rabbit hole ⚫️which sucked me right in and didn't spit me back out for over a month. The product of my time in Az**el's garden is a booklet of sorts. A short grimoire called the Minor Rites of Az**el 😈which gives potent magical arcana from the Author of Sorcery and Keeper of Heavens Secrets.

In Memoriam: Stanton Zaharoff LaVey, who's mortal life ended Dec 19th 2022. Stanton was a powerful thinker and a fountain of Satanic insight. He shared qualities with his illustrious grandfather but is very much his own man, and has his own pact. My sincerest condolences to his family.
