That’s a wrap on the feature film “Casa Grande”, filmed in Genoa and Carson City, Nevada. The crew was an amazing combination of Reno, Vegas and LA filmmakers. I had the great privilege of working as “A” Camera Operator and as Set Decorator. We worked with an amazing cast that put everything on the screen. Thank you to director and DP reubendp for the opportunity. Massive thanks to every department and every crew member who always added to the image and helped make the film look stunning. It was an honor and a joy to work with all of you.

What an AMAZING weekend of films and filmmakers at Cordillera International Film Festival. We were honored to take home the award for Best Nevada Film for "Watching Walter" Congratulations to our director Mitch Yapko, writer/producers Mark Brown and Cynthia Anne Gravinese Brown and thank you to our entire amazing cast and crew on this film. It means so much to us and our entire team to receive this recognition.

This year’s festival was one the most incredible I have experienced. I was blown away with this year’s programming. Every single film was stunning. More so, I’m completely blown away with this year’s Nevada films and some of my friends and peers incredible work.

Jesse McCloskey's animated film “Have Your Cake” was a lucid fever dream into a world I have never experienced like any other film. Jesse, your skills were on stunning display. I was never sure when I was witnessing reality or a dream. I can’t wait to see what you create next.

I have been hearing about Stephen George's work for a few months now and his film “For Sale” completely lived up to the hype. This film is in my top 5 from the fest and I believe it showcases a true visionary of a filmmaker. It was such a pleasure to meet you Stephen, you are going to have an incredible festival run.

Ollie DeHaven’s “Husband In-Laws” was the best comedy I have seen all year! Mainstream or festival. Steve Dickson and Kaleb Temple's performance was absolutely classic and a match I never knew I needed more of. The two of you better keep this team going! Congratulations Ollie on your amazing debut film. I am a total fan! Enter every comedy fest you can. You will conquer.

Bobby Schmidt's “Coffee Black” had an electric performance from Khalilah Smith Cage and some of my favorite Reno actors. Congrats Bobby and the entire team on this excellent revenge short film.

Thank you to every single staff member and board member from Cordillera. You pulled it off again and helped show the world why this festival is receiving the recognition it deserves.

The festival always leaves me pumped up and excited to create the next project. Let’s keep Nevada films and filmmakers strong and continue to support and encourage each other. Shannon and I hope to work together with you all on the next one! Cheers friends!
