We’re honored to share that Home: Rebuilding Hope for Washoe’s Homeless—our documentary created in partnership with Washoe County—has been awarded Best Feature Film at the Desert Waves Film Festival in Las Vegas.

This project tackles difficult but necessary conversations around homelessness in our community. To see it met with such openness, empathy, and recognition is truly humbling.

A heartfelt thank you to our partners at Washoe County and to everyone who has helped amplify the voices at the center of this story. We're committed to continuing the conversation and ensuring this important film reaches even more people.

This week's midweek movie quote comes to us from our Creative Director, Jonathan, from one of his favorite comfort movies - The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

Much like all of Peter Jackson's projects, this production utilized cutting edge technologies - this film was the first theatrical movie to be shot and projected at forty-eight frames per second, twice as fast as the industry standard of twenty-four frames per second.
