Timothy and Lisa are making something worth the stop, and they close at sundown, so pregame here before you hit the bars. Tell them the glizzy gods sent you. 🙌

The Virginia City Outhouse Races did not disappoint. 🚽🏁 The outhouses were prepped, the racers were dressed to impress, and the whole event was a real stinker 🚽 💩, in the best way. Some say it’s crap, but we say it’s a downright flush with fun.

What you’d expect from a small town sometimes surprises you, and Virginia City, NV keeps proving it.

Marvin and I stumbled onto OneWestKitchen One West on the way to a business meeting, and it stopped us in our tracks. 🍽️ A counter-service spot on Ralston, between 1st and 2nd, serving wings, burgers, a French dip, and a beef saltado that looks and tastes like it costs twice the price. We ate on one of the quietest streets in Reno and laughed the whole time.
Then the owner, Walter, came out to ask how it was. I asked his age. Twenty-two. Twenty-two, in the hardest industry there is, on a block that doesn’t hand out second chances.
He asked for honest feedback, and he listened to every word. Now he’d love to hear it from his community. Go eat, then tell him what you think. 👇
