Removing peel and stick adhesive Hello, I wondered if anyone had any advice on how to remove the adhesive left on wooden floor from peel and stick flooring? We have tried white spirit and Scrubb Adhesive remover - the floor is now a slippery/ waxy/ sticky texture all over. We have scraped the excess adhesive and washed multiple times with floor cleaner but nothing seems to help. Picture of the flooring attached for reference.

Impromptu half bath remodel. My teenage son overflowed the half bath toilet in the middle of the night 😒. Thankfully we stopped it pretty quickly. I had remodeled it a three years ago with smartcore LVP tile. Thought I had sealed the edges and baseboards well enough with caulk but water found its way underneath somehow and I had to rip up all the lvp and v***r barrier to dry everything out. Now I'm back to the slab and wondering if it's worth the effort to remove all the left over sheet vinyl glue for real tile. Unfortunately I can't use harsh chemicals due to having sensitive animals in the house. Any thoughts?

Laminate flooring in the kitchen started doing this. What’s an easy solution that’ll hold me over for a couple of years before replacing the entire floor? The contractor installed this laminate flooring two years ago roughly. I was thinking about gluing a few of these pieces and then just putting a heavy rug over it for the time being, is this dumb?

Drywall and construction junk on LVP Hey, looking for advice on how to best clean up these spots on the floor from construction that went on in our house. I’ve been scraping but that only get them so clean; residue is tending to stay. What solution could I use to help break down these spots or cleaning method? It’s spots like these over about 400 sq. ft. of LVP.

Ruined carpet seam This seam is in the basement. The rest of the 1600 sq. ft. flooring looks great. I just have this area that has been damaged right in the middle of the living room area. I have no extra pieces and it is about 14 years old. Is it fixable? If so, what would be the approximate cost? Or should I just throw an area rug over it and call it a day?

Next Best Steps to Fix This Floor 1950’s home with crawlspace. Pipe leak in crawlspace caused structural damage and a section of the subfloor warped and was replaced. Other remaining subfloor is original 2” wood. The vinyl plank flooring was removed where the subfloor was replaced. I don’t have enough extra planks to repair the area and it isn’t produced anymore nor can I find deadstock i did find close match but lvp but width is 7.5” and existing is 6”. I don’t like the flooring but finances are a factor. To replace all the flooring would require moving cabinets from far end of kitchen and the fridge wedged into a walk in pantry. The labor to do this could tilt the scales. Not my forever home but it needs to be a safe and decent looking. The kitchen is 10’ x 18’ approx. not including 4’ x 5’ pantry and flooring area to be fixed is 4’ x 11’ to the far end of the removed planks.

Help with bleached floor I've spilt bleach on the laminate flooring and it has changed the color of the flooring. Is there anyway I can even out the flooring to match, I don’t hate the color it’s turned it and probably prefer it.

Requesting help with wood flooring ID Im hoping to get some help with a wood ID. Solid wood, 3.5 inch, 3/4 thick tongue and groove. I feel like it's maple, but would appreciate some help!
