Capital Caring Health

Capital Caring Health needs medical personal protective equipment (disposable face masks, gloves, gowns). While we wait for national emergency stockpiled supplies to be released and distributed, our own supplies are running low. These items ensure our staff can provide in-person care at our hospice inpatient facilities and for our patients at home who are nearing end of life or having unrelieved pain/suffering. These patients are of all ages, including children, and many are in the last days to weeks of life.

To donate supplies (100% tax deductible), contact us at [email protected] or call 800-869-2136. We will arrange for our volunteers to come by your location to pick up these supplies if you are in DC, MD, or VA.

Fahrney Keedy Home & Village

In the midst of this challenging time, during a staff members’ shift, Fahrney Keedy is offering childcare. Childcare is being offered outside of the main facility, away from all residents. Children receive a good health screening and have their temperature taken upon arrival. THIS is how our community supports each other – We are proud to offer this assistance to the skilled hands and compassionate hearts who keep the wheels of our community turning. We’re all in this together! #FahrneyKeedyProud
