This past weekend I had the opportunity to go and visit my old college BYU-Idaho stomping grounds for my best friend’s wedding. ❤️
I made time to go to the temple while I was there and it felt so crazy to me to see how much time had passed over the last 13 years.
I grew up in Modesto, CA where the closest temple is an hour and 15 minutes away without traffic. So moving to Rexburg and having one a ten minute walk away was something I found exciting. I thought why not go to the temple? It’s so close.
That started me on a path that led me to understand and come to know my Savior better. I served in the temple as an ordinance worker once endowed and also received my answer to serve a mission in that celestial room.
So going back to that temple last Thursday made me realize how much our decisions matter. I spent so much time in that temple and it really helped me learn to put Christ first in all things. ❤️
If you haven’t been to the temple I’d encourage you to go and go more frequently. Standing in Holy places is exactly what we need in this world today. ☺️
