๐ NEW LOOK REVEAL ๐
Well... it finally happened.
If there was one thing I always hoped I could avoid, it was needing glasses. ๐
For over 10 years, I've worked in IT, spending countless hours in front of computer screens. I've done my best to protect my eyes, blue light glasses ๐, screen breaks, adjusting brightness, all the things.
But ever since turning 40, I've started noticing changes I couldn't ignore.
My eyes would get tired, itchy, and dry. Bright sunlight felt overwhelming. Night driving became more difficult because of headlights. Even reading words from a distance started getting a little blurry.
So after putting it off for longer than I should have, I finally booked an eye exam.
The good news? Everything looks healthy. My prescription is very mild, but enough to help with the symptoms I've been experiencing.
The crazy part? The moment I put these on, I immediately noticed the difference. The brightness was toned down, things looked clearer, and my eyes felt more relaxed.
These lenses are designed to help with computer work, driving, glare, and bright sunlight, so I'll mainly wear them when I'm working, watching TV, driving, or when my eyes need a little extra support.
Aging really doesn't come with a warning label, does it? ๐
One day you're cruising through life with perfect vision, and the next you're saying things like, "Hold on, let me put my glasses on."
But honestly, I'm grateful. Grateful for good health, grateful for modern technology, and grateful that taking care of ourselves is something we can choose at every stage of life.
So... be honest.
At what age did you get your first pair of glasses? ๐๐พ๐ค
