Meet our amazing Associate Producer & Studio Manager, Isabella Tuite! After interning with us for over 7 months, we realized we couldn't live without her so she took over our studio operations, produced multiple projects including a Savannah Bananas documentary (coming soon in 2026~), and became our unofficial office party planner.
We asked her a few questions:
Why did you choose a filmmaking career?
I was put into a random film class in high school, where I made my first documentary. It took me a year and a half to make, and it was not good. But, during that time, I learned so much more about everyone around me. From the people who helped me make the film, to the classmates who would stop me in the hallway to ask about its progress. It felt like my world had opened up to stories that I never would have bothered to listen to before. That was the first time I realized the impact of putting your all into something and sharing it through a medium like film that can reach people anywhere.
How did you end up at CinemaStory?
I became a wee ol Intern in the Spring of 2023. Since then, I've worked in countless roles, including Production Assistant (PA), Crafty, Script Supervisor, Art Dept., etc., until I finally landed on Associate Producer (AP). I didn't know what I wanted to be when I first started, and that allowed me to diversify my skills. I've also had the privilege of working with Shane directly, which helped set a certain standard in the work I do. I think my willingness to learn and CinemaStory's willingness to teach is what kept me around so long.
What's a fun fact about you most people don't know?
Before working at CinemaStory, I was a pro at making sandwiches. I worked at three different sandwich shops for a collective of three years, perfecting my sub-making skills. To this day, I still experiment with ingredients and techniques, trying to make the perfect sandwich.
