Always Other’s lush new record ‘Existential Disco’ is out today! Cassettes and posters are available on the Asset Two webstore as well as the Always Other bandcamp page.

The physical release is a limited edition of 40 lavender swirl cassettes with pad printed labels. They are accompanied by a zine printed on purple paper. There is also an option to bundle the cassette with an 11x17 poster.

Asset Two is excited to announce the release of Flatspot’s debut album Wet Socks. The LP was recorded in three sessions with Steve Barber at Tone Capital in Richmond, VA. Prior to getting in the studio, every song was battle tested at a smattering of Richmond and Harrisonburg DIY venues over the course of about a year. Dealing with themes of wasted adolescence and emotional vexation and served with a side helping of humorous self deprecation, the record is a tight 27 minutes of brand new alt-emo. Highlights include the ripping opener, ‘Drop These’, dynamic track three, ‘It All Goes’, and ‘Circles’, which closes out the record.

We are also excited to present a limited edition cassette pressing of the album. Limited to 40 copies, the white cassette shell has a printed label and a hand folded J-Card as well as a nifty little zine folded up nicely inside for your reading pleasure. Asset Two is excited to announce the release of a new single from .anne, out now, as well as a brand new, self-titled, album out on Friday!

The record is eight tracks of lo-fi goodness you won’t want to miss. Listen to the single (yeah, that’s right, it’s a double A-side) today, and follow the band to get the record delivered straight to your algorithm. The CD is currently available for preorder order on the Asset Two webstore. We expect to ship those out in early December. I heard that CDs make good gifts, especially when they have exclusive live tracks not available anywhere else.

Wallpaper’s debut album captures a young band with nothing to lose. From the hazy textures of ‘sunburn”, the feedback-soaked powerpop of “Waterparks”, to the vitriolic closing track “G.T.S.”, Spokes is an extraordinarily raw record, recorded over a day or two at Rosewood Recordings in Richmond, Virginia. This first pressing includes an exclusive bonus track on side two.

The cassette is available for pre-order exclusively on the Asset Two web store, link in bio. Shipping in early January.
