Meditating on the Beach to the sound of the ocean waves is one of the greatest gifts of Self Care. 🧘🏼🏝️🌊☀️💝

Many people over the years have told me that they are not able to meditate because they can’t stop thinking. I felt the same way 13 years ago when I first got into yoga and meditation. What I’ve come to learn is that meditation is more about taking a pause to observe our thoughts and understand that we are the observer & not our thoughts 💭🧘🏼✨

So by simply sitting, standing, or walking, as It can look different for each individual, and observing our thoughts we can watch them pass by like clouds in the sky & focus on our breath as the breath is what guides us and allows us over time to get into a deeper meditation and allow those clouds to simply disappear for some beautiful blue sky action. ☀️
