Our hearts are with our friends at Buffalo Trace Distillery, and all of Kentucky, as they recover from historic levels of flooding. Our time spent filming at Buffalo Trace was one of the highlights of our career as we were welcomed with such kindness and hospitality. All of us at Alice Blue Studios are thinking of each of you and your families and look forward to supporting your recovery efforts.

Bringing this bold vision to life for Listerine was an exciting challenge—balancing CGI and dynamic liquid simulation in both static and animated forms. We sought to capture the fresh and energized essence of our liquid trails in these still visuals for Listerine’s social channels.

Who could forget the iconic yellow school bus we all know so well? Discover our fully CGI computerized world through Thomas Built Buses’ electric journey.

Every element was designed and created to replicate a mechanical component that corresponded with a building in a city, a silo on a rural highway, or even a suburban neighborhood, complete with trees and shrubs. While the detail looks seamless, the process to replicate its motherboard counterpart was anything but simple. All details of the three environments, as well as the additional scenes that connect the environments in the animation, were created with 360° detail that allowed for dynamic camera moves and high-def closeups throughout the story.

The result is a playful, high tech environment that supports our hero’s mission for a world that reduces emissions and supports the goal for a greener Earth. 🌎

The term Topiary is derived from the Latin word for an ornamental landscape gardener, topiarius, a creator of topia or “places”, a Greek word that Romans also applied to fictive indoor landscapes executed in fresco.

We work much the same - imagining worlds and bringing them to life in a digital fashion. Creativity is always blooming at Alice Blue!🌷
