I had big plans to have a social media presence this year…and then I threw my back out, my whole house got sick, and I had surgery. So yeah, that consistency goal did not survive January.

I’ve also been struggling with what I even want to post because being a mom is such a huge part of my identity, but I don’t want to share my kids with strangers on the internet.

So I’m trying to figure out how to show my life without putting their faces online.

And honestly… I’m still figuring it out.

Also my kids are obsessed with Young Jedi, so audio in the background courtesy of Disney+ 😅

A grown woman with a degree, a job, and a family… still wondering what I want to be when I grow up.

Not burnt out. Not ungrateful. Just questioning the system.

Would a 4-day work week fix everything or just slightly improve our moods? 👀 If you could redesign your work week, what would it look like?

Also to be transparent I filmed this like 2 weeks ago and just now posting it. I’m still struggling over here with the never ending illness that has hit our family 🫠

Took nothing down, except my lower back 🫠

Happy 2026, friends ❤️

House was clean for a solid 6 hours. We’ll always have the memories.

Happy holidays🎄 from this mom who takes 2 hours to finish doing the dishes and somehow volunteered to host Christmas Eve dinner for 14 people 😅 I hope these enchiladas turn out…

A full day at Disneyland with a 3 & 5 year old 🎢✨

Stayed at the Disneyland Hotel and walked into the park by 7:30am (early access = huge win, going away in January 😢). Rope dropped Fantasyland, knocked out a ton of rides, met princesses, watched the parade, and even rode Rise & Smugglers twice.

✨ 19 rides
🍴 3 meals + snacks
👑 Characters + parade
😮‍💨 Carried the 3yo about 70% of the day

Parent lessons learned:
✔️ Mobile order breakfast immediately
✔️ Pieces of Eight will hold your purchases FREE all day
✔️ Rent the stroller (trust me 😅)

We hoped for fireworks and snow on Main Street, but an overstimulated toddler called it at 9pm. Exhausting? Yes. Worth it? 100%. 🏰✨

If the Jack Skellington 💀 line is way too long, head into the Pieces of Eight gift shop by Pirates of the Caribbean 🏴‍☠️ There’s a window inside that looks into the courtyard where Jack (and Sally!) meet guests 👀 Perfect for kids who just want a peek without the wait.

The mental load is the longest shift I work. My mind is busy keeping our family organized, but my husband shows up for so much of the doing — the appointments, the pickups, the everyday things. It really does take both of us, and I’m so thankful we get to do this as a team.
