VFW 928 CANTEEN POLICY (Private Club)
- Bartenders are required to check/verify membership cards prior to serving you.
- You are required to show proof of membership and sign into the logbook prior to being served.
- Expired members are required to renew immediately to be served and cannot be served as a guest.
- Potential members must list a referral name on their application. *If none is given, the bartender shall not accept the application.
- Guests are required to apply for club membership after their initial visit and cannot be contiually allowed admission or served as a guest after that initial visit.
- Post games are available only to VFW 928 members. (Not former members or members from other posts, not District, not guests etc - no exceptions) *Bartenders are authorized to ask for proof of VFW 928 membership to participate.
- Bartenders can refuse to serve anyone based on RAMP requirements.
- Membership can be revoked at any time for unacceptable conduct.

You and all guests are cordially invited to our 90th Anniversary Celebration on Sunday June 8th 1200-1700 (Noon till 5)
- Cocktail Hour 1200-1300 on the deck with the opening of the Taylor Tiki Bar.
- Cake Cutting Ceremony 1300-1330
- Snacks, finger foods, and cake.
The Post was opened on June 8th 1935
*Named after Herbert W. Best from Chester PA, he served in the Army, was wounded and died from his wounds on July 25th 1918.
**Please join us as we celebrate his legacy and the post’s 90th Anniversary, named in his honor.

A few years ago, Vietnam Veteran and multiple time Commander Gene Taylor had a vision. That vision has now been fulfilled in time for Memorial Day. The Taylor Tiki Bar will be located on the deck for soecial occasions.
We would not have gotten here without our Veterans, Auxiliary, Social Members, Guests, and especially our wonderful Bar Manager Margie Meyer. Thank you one and all!

VFW Post 928 is having a deck installed in time for Memorial Day weekend. Donations and 50/50 raffle tickets to support the purchase of patio furniture are needed.
The deck is intended to be named after former Commander Bob Stanton.
The Taylor Tiki Bar will be located on the deck during special events and named in honor of multi-time Commander Gene Taylor.
