I've taken 100s, maybe even 1000s of pictures with pianos in them, and I always love the way you get a little reflection of the strings and soundboard on the underneath side of the lid - but the reflection on this particular one at a recent recital I was photographing was off-the-charts.

This Memorial Day weekend I raise the “Betsy “Ross” flag - celebrating the founding of this great country 250 yrs ago and honoring the many men and women who have died in the service of this country - establishing and maintaining our precious freedoms.

This flag will fly through the next two months as we celebrate Flag Day and Independence Day.

Our old flag is faded by the sun and torn by the wind and will be respectfully retired. Every year we raise a new flag at this time. This year deserves something special. Betsy will fly for a couple of months as we honor our past and then we will be replaced with our current flag.
