Many of you have heard bits and pieces about why we left our previous business venture. Rather than engaging in rumors, gossip, or speculation, we'd like to simply share our perspective.
When we sold our business, we stayed on for six months to help with the transition and to help the new owners succeed. We poured our hearts into making that business successful and were proud to continue contributing after the sale.
As time passed, it became clear that our role was no longer needed, and the direction of the business was changing. At that point, we made the decision to step away and begin a new chapter of our own.
Leaving was not about anger, revenge, or conflict. It was about recognizing when it was time to move forward.
We believe every story has more than one side, and we also believe our actions over the years speak for themselves. We are incredibly grateful for the customers, friends, and supporters who have stood by us through every chapter.
Today, our focus is not on the past. Our focus is on building something positive, welcoming, and exciting for the future with The Flocking Flamingo.
Our previous venture was solely built on Facebook live sales, and the occasional walk in business; this time we are focusing entirely online thru multiple formats. Those will include Ebay, Poshmark, Whatnot and the occasional Facebook live sale. We plan on expanding this from a local market to a nationwide shipping market, but there will be an opportunity for scheduling local pickups as well. The purpose of building this new business in this fashion is to afford us an opportunity to relocate ourselves and the new business without disruption, when the time is right.
