On this Labor Day, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the dedication, heart, and hard work you put in every single day.

Coaching is a true labor of love. Balancing your own full-time jobs and family schedules, you still show up night after night to pour into our kids. Long after your workday ends and the final whistle blows, you are spending your evenings and weekends preparing practice plans, organizing gear, building up our athletes' confidence, and teaching lessons that go far beyond the court or field. You don't just teach the game—you mentor, inspire, and shape the character of our kids, leaving a lasting impact on their lives and our entire community.

We see the countless hours you selflessly give, and we are beyond grateful for your passion and commitment to Ripley athletics.

Friday October 9th we are going to be holding a Blue and White Night. Our high school teams will play in a fun scrimmage at 5:30 followed by the “semi-annual” Alumni Soccer Game 7:30.

We are looking for Alumni players please reach out to Tj Huff or Gabe Scott, OR just show up! More information on the event will be posted closer to the time. We need 24-26 players for the alumni game so we can have subs. (God knows we will need them!!)

Yes, we are all tired. Yes, our knees make weird clicking sounds when we walk up the bleachers. But our sports programs cannot survive on our snarky group chats and mental support alone.

It’s time to step up:
• Concession Stand Duty: It’s just working a cash register for two hours (maybe cashless soon 🤞). We survived dial-up internet and waiting three days for an album to download on LimeWire; we can handle microwaving a hot dog.

• Fundraising: If we can spend $7 on an iced oat milk latte without blinking, we can figure out how to sell some raffle tickets and plan some cool events!

• Board Meetings: Channel that inner passive-aggressive energy you usually reserve for corporate emails and put it toward drafting a grant letter.

Our parents ran these clubs on Folgers coffee, sheer spite, and zero safety regulations. We got this.

We meet tonight in the HS lecture hall @ 7pm. No strings attached, let’s just chat!
