77-year-old James “Roger” Carol disappeared in July while backpacking through Northern California’s remote Russian Wilderness, an area he knew extremely well.

Despite an extensive search involving approximately 80 personnel, no trace of Carol has been found.

Nearly three months later, his disappearance remains a mystery.

Anyone with information is encouraged to contact the Siskiyou County Sheriff’s Office at 530-841-2900.

Bigfoot Caught On Thermal?

On May 1, 2026, a group of Sasquatch researchers reported capturing unusual thermal footage while investigating Washington’s Gifford Pinchot National Forest.

The recording appears to show multiple heat signatures near a tree, including a much larger figure that emerges into view.

GrayBear of Skamania Chronicles recently discussed the encounter on Sasquatch Chronicles, including what the team reportedly discovered when they returned to the location the following morning.

Canseco has spoken publicly about his belief in Sasquatch, and he’s apparently pretty serious about the search.

A 21-year-old man has been killed by an unidentified animal in Manitoba, Canada.

Moses Manasseh Campeau was found on a community road on September 9. An autopsy determined the preliminary cause of death was an animal attack.

Weeks later, authorities still haven’t publicly identified what attacked him.

Capturing Bigfoot examines the Patterson-Gimlin Film and claims newly discovered 16mm footage could shed new light on what happened at Bluff Creek in 1967.

In 2004, local officials passed a resolution declaring Whitehall a sanctuary for Sasquatch.
