Happy Taco Tuesday!!! Kinda somber today on The Wyoming Wakeup with Nash on KTAK 93.9 - Wyoming's BIG Country WyoToday with the passing of Joe Ely. I'll play some Joe Ely songs and share some stories. I'm sure I'll have a lump in my throat, but if you have any stories you'd like to share, please share in the comments below.

Icon and Legend Joe Ely has left us. His legacy and music will forever be treasured and remembered.

Legendary songwriter, singer, and raconteur Joe Ely died today from complications of Lewy Body Dementia, Parkinson’s and pneumonia. His beloved wife Sharon and daughter Marie were at his side at their home in Taos, New Mexico. Ely was born February 9, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a leader of the extraordinary parade of artists raised in Lubbock who later settled in the live music capital of Austin. Ely signed with MCA Records in the 1970s and spent more than five decades recording and performing around the world. A full obituary and more information will follow in the coming days.

Are You an Extrovert, Introvert, or "Otrovert"?
If you're not an extrovert OR introvert . . . you might be an "OTROVERT."
It's not a mix of the two. The term for that is an "ambivert," where you're one or the other . . . or both . . . in certain ways.
Otroverts are different by definition. "Otro" literally means "other." And the top sign you're one is constantly feeling like an OUTSIDER. Like you never fit in.
The guy who came up with it thinks HE'S one, and he's seen it in some of his patients too. He says otroverts can be extremely social and well-liked. They're just more about the one-on-one and don't really connect with groups.
He says otroverts tend to be "independent thinkers who aren't emotionally dependent" on what others think. So, they're often renegades.
He even thinks it might be the default setting we're all born with. Then we LEARN to be introverts or extroverts.
