The severe weather threat is winding down for today. Looking at the rest of the week, severe weather will remain possible. Wind will be the main threats during the afternoon and evening both Thursday and Friday.

A band of rain continues to move in from the west. Occasional lightning is possible as well as heavier bursts of rain. Ahead of the line, light showers are forming east toward the Blue Ridge.
