The Rochester Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Kipton (KIP) Harris, a 16 year old white male, 5 feet 5 inches tall, 145 pounds, red hair with blue eyes, last seen wearing a light-colored shirt, camo pants, and black and white shoes.

Kip is missing from Rochester, Indiana which is 102 miles north of Indianapolis and was last seen on Wednesday, May 7, 2026, at 12:56 pm. He believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance. Kip is believed to be in or traveling to the downtown Indianapolis area.

⚡🚔 2026 “Ride the Lightning” Fundraiser is Here! 🚔⚡
The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is proud to announce our annual “Ride the Lightning” Fundraiser in recognition of Corrections and Law Enforcement Week!
Last year, Fulton County came together in a big way—raising over $12,000 to support our local FOP Lodge #143 Shop With a Cop program. This year, we’re aiming even higher, and we need your help to make it happen.
We are calling on local businesses to step up and get involved:
👉 Find a brave (or volunteered 😄) employee within your organization willing to “Ride the Lightning”
👉 Rally your team and community to fundraise in their name
💥 Here’s the twist:
The business that raises the least amount will take the loss… and their selected employee will be “honored” in a very memorable way during our Staff Luncheon on May 14th 😏
All proceeds go directly to FOP Lodge #143 Shop With a Cop – Fulton County, helping make a difference for children and families in our community.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing individual.
Michael Taylor, age 81, was last seen walking near his residence on the west side of Rochester at approximately 4:00 PM today (03-24-2026).
Description:

Height: 5’7”
Weight: 161 lbs
Clothing: Royal blue sweater, light blue denim pants, navy blue loafers, and a light blue striped hat

Mr. Taylor has been diagnosed with dementia and may be confused or disoriented.
If you see Mr. Taylor or have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office immediately at 574-223-2819.
