When a veteran comes home, they shouldn't just be told "welcome back"...they should be shown that they belong 💯!! It is so important for veterans to have a real seat at the table when big decisions are made(especially ones for and about US). There is a special kind of strength that comes from seeing your community actually standing with you and standing up for you. It reminds you that you aren't alone and that your voice still carries weight.
💯 ​We need our local leaders and local groups to rally behind us. They need to step up and allow the real veterans in this community to lead and help make a difference. For the veterans who are out there right now doing the hard work in the streets to make things better..in meetings and constant calls... your words matter more than anyone else.
💯 You know what it’s like to be in the trenches, and that makes you the best person to lead the way. You deserve to be heard, respected, and backed up by the people around you. Your mission didn't end when you took off the uniform...💯 it just moved to the home front, and we need your leadership now more than ever.

But we don't have to carry that weight into the future alone💯! 📢This Wednesday night, we turn the page together!! When we gather as veterans.. something powerful happens... the noise quiets down...we find clarity in our shared struggles..and the burdens we carry start to feel a little lighter!!
