Good morning! I just wanted to ask some questions about flock cameras. Do you know what they are and how much do you know about them? Did you know that Bland County has three of them? Good morning Bland County! I have some news that some have been waiting to hear. I stopped this morning and spoke with a lady from Arkansas who is in charge of setting up the new Dollar General in Rocky Gap. They are projecting to open on Thursday or possibly Friday of this week pending the final inspection! Woohoo!

Many have asked what type of DG will it be. It is actually a regular one that does carry food but not fresh vegetables. But, after a year, they will do an analysis on it to see where sales are and the demand for it to be turned into a market. Besides sales, interest from the locals encouraging and requesting it to offer more is taken into consideration.

I was told that they are still hiring for positions there. So go apply if you are interested!

The sidewalk appears to be completed. Doors and windows installed. The suspense of the time-frame for opening has us all asking when. Well, one thing is certain, we are closer than we were the day before.
