By shifting our focus away from abstract desires like wanting a happy life someday, and instead grounding ourselves in the pursuit of a single happy day, we align more closely with reality. The idea of a happy life, when viewed as something far off, becomes an illusion that distracts us from the joy and peace available right now. But when we devote ourselves to making one day meaningful, joyful, and present, we begin to understand that a happy life is nothing more than a collection of happy, conscious days.
