Congratulations to these new Sir Knights! Your journey doesn’t end with joining, it begins with a renewed opportunity to stand up, step forward, and serve. Serve your parish. Serve your community. Stand proudly for our faith, our families, and our country.

A special thank-you to Assembly 2578, their Sir Knights, and their families for hosting us and helping make the day special.

🇺🇸 Honoring Those Who Serve — Remembering 9/11

The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Assembly and Council in Hot Springs came together to honor the men and women who put their lives on the line for others by hosting a 9/11 First Responders Breakfast at the Parish Hall of St. Mary’s of the Springs Catholic Church in Hot Springs.

On this solemn anniversary, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost on September 11, 2001, and we honor the courage and sacrifice of the first responders who ran toward danger when others were running away.

This breakfast was more than a meal—it was an opportunity to say “Thank you” to those who continue to serve and protect our communities every day.

The Knights of Columbus remain committed to Faith in Action, supporting those who serve, strengthening our communities, and keeping alive the memory of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.

🙏 May God bless our first responders, our veterans, our families, and the United States of America.

Never Forget. 🇺🇸

Well done Father Patrick and Sir Knights.

SALT & PEPPER: Even monks occasionally venture beyond the cloister, not because we have misplaced the keys, but because Benedictine life also calls us to serve the wider community. Father Patrick Boland of our monastery recently attended a gathering of the Order of the Fleur de Lis, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, joining a distinguished group of Catholic gentlemen in white coats, while making it quite easy to identify the monk in black. We are grateful for Catholic organizations such as this that strengthen faith, patriotism, civic responsibility, and charitable service across our region. The Arkansans pictured in the photo are (L-R): Murray Claassen, Bob Honzik, Greg Baltz, Fr. Patrick Boalnd OSB, Roy Anderle, Newton White, Dale Flamand: For that, we monks chant: UIOGD!
