🚨 Scam Warning for Lost Pet Owners 🚨

We’re seeing an increase in people targeting families with missing pets—offering “discounted” drone services that may not be legitimate. 🐾

We know how emotional this time is, so please take a moment to protect yourself:

• Ask for an FAA Part 107 certified pilot (they should gladly show proof).
• Check for a real business presence—reviews, posts, social media presence and contact info.
• Ask for past work or references.
• Be cautious of deep discounts or anyone pressuring you to pay up front (especially if they contacted YOU).
•Never rely on messaging alone. Legitimate companies will be willing to speak on the phone or meet for a consultation.

We know how stressful and emotional it is when a pet is missing. Please take a moment to verify anyone offering help—legitimate pilots and businesses will always be transparent, certified, and willing to answer your questions. 🐾

Just a little PSA about expectations…🐾
We are so hopeful every time we’re called to help bring a missing pet home—especially after so many days apart. We know how heavy that wait can feel, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Drone technology can be an incredibly helpful tool in the search process. It allows us to cover large areas, access hard-to-reach places, and sometimes spot what can’t be seen from the ground.

That said, there are factors beyond our control that can affect success—especially after extended time missing. Terrain, weather, temperature, time of day, and a dog’s movement patterns all play a role. Dogs that have been missing for days often change behavior, travel farther than expected, or take shelter in areas that may not be visible from above.

Because of this, drones are best used as one part of a larger search effort—not a guaranteed solution. We approach every search with dedication, care, and realistic expectations, always hoping for the best possible outcome.

No matter what, we’re here to support you and your pet every step of the way.

The Wayward Weiner is HOME!! 🐾❤️
After four days of being missing, we got the call. Within a few hours, we spotted him with the drone. Within minutes of that, he was in his mama’s arms. We feel beyond honored to reunite this precious family. Thank you to everyone who tagged and shared. 🫶🏻
