Anyone else love Doritos Taco Salad?!🤤 I know some people like to add kidney beans, but we leave them out. This is enough to feed 10!
2 heads iceberg lettuce, chopped
3 cups cheddar cheese
2 large tomatoes diced
2lbs ground beef (salt&pepper for tatse, or use taco seasoning)
1 party size bag Doritos, crushed
2 family size bottles Catalina dressing
ETA: only used the roasting pan to mix and serve lol no heating

Easy and cheap pizza quesadilla.
Cook just like you would a normal quesadilla but stuff with pizza toppings instead. For this one I used mozzarella and pepperoni inside. I also sprinkle garlic and basil leave seasonings on top of the butter before I start cooking the tortillas. I dip it in marinara sauce

1 box beef rice a roni
1 small can beef broth
Brown ground beef
Brown the rice as directed
Once rice is browned add 1 1/2 cups hot water, 1 can beef broth and brown ground beef.
Simmer 15 minutes. Yum!

Make/cook hamburger Patties…. You want them to be able to fit a slice of bread after cooking, not too thick. In a separate pan I cook some onions in butter and olive oil. Once burgers and onions are done, assemble sandwiches to cook like a grilled cheese. For us that means, A slice of buttered bread, slice of cheese, burger, onions, another slice of cheese and another slice of buttered bread.

Cheesy taco pasta!
Boil 1 box of pasta (any kind works)(I used bow tie)
1 lb of hamburger seasoned with a pack of taco seasoning
Half a block of velveeta
1/2 jar of your favorite salsa
Melt the velveeta and salsa together, set it aside. Brown the hamburger, drain it and add the taco seasoning. Add the hamburger and velveeta to your cooked pasta and mix it really well. You can add shredded cheese and more salsa on top if you want!

Okay, I can't be the only one that has ever done this, but everytime I do it in front of someone for the first time they are always amazed by my idea. It's really my momma's idea, she had 12 children so she never ever wasted anything. Everytime we had to peel potatoes we'd scrub them good with a washcloth and rinse them good then we'd deep fry the peeling to make potato skin chips with them. Great to snack on while cooking. My kids always got excited if I was making potato soup.. they knew they was getting fresh chips. Can't get no cheaper than that guys.🤣
