There is just something ridiculously satisfying about turning food you grew yourself into something your family will eat months from now. 🥹🍅🌱
Today’s project: homemade pasta sauce!
🍅 Tomatoes from our garden
🧅 Onions from our garden
🧄 Garlic from our garden
🌿 And some fresh basil headed in there too
Blanched, peeled, simmered for over an hour, sautéed the onion and garlic separately, blended everything together, seasoned it and back on the stove to simmer some more. 🤌 Then into the freezer it will go!
Months from now when I get home exhausted and can pull homemade garden pasta sauce out of the freezer for dinner… TODAY ME will be my favorite person. 😂❤️
This is why I garden. 🍅🌿

First day off in a whole WEEK 🙌 and I would love to tell you I’m spending it doing absolutely nothing…
But have you SEEN what happens to a house when mom works 6 days?! 😂😳
☕ Hocus Pocus coffee
🧹 Whole house reset
🧺 Approximately 9,000 loads of laundry
🍂 AND FINALLY pulling out the fall decorations!
Because apparently my idea of relaxing is cleaning everything and then decorating it. 🤣🎃
But tonight?? I want a clean house, fall everywhere, something cozy for dinner and my butt on the couch. 😂❤️
It’s officially FALL in this house! 🍁🎃☕️

Apparently today’s reminder to SLOW DOWN needed to be delivered directly to my thumb. 😂🔥
Trying to do 47 things at once, moving way too fast and BAM… got myself GOOD. Instant blister and everything. 🤦‍♀️
Nothing says Happy Monday like burning the crap out of yourself while trying to be productive. 😂
Maybe tomorrow I’ll operate at a normal human speed.
Probably not. 🤣
