Days like this are a pretty good reminder of what makes this community such a special place to live, work, visit, and do business.

There’s a lot happening in Oakland, and we’re excited to keep building on the momentum, supporting our local businesses, and creating new opportunities for our community.

🍉 THE PLUG IS HEADED TO THE MELON FESTIVAL!

We’re packing up the TRP canopy and taking The Roseburg Plug to Winston for the 58th Annual Winston-Dillard Melon Festival! 🍉🔌

We’ll be out at Riverbend Park all three days, hanging out with Joe with The Roseburg Receiver and getting right in the middle of everything happening this weekend.

If you see the TRP canopy, COME SAY HI! Seriously. 😂

Tell us about your business. Tell us about your organization. Tell us about something cool happening in Douglas County that more people need to know about. Or just come hang out with us for a few minutes.

This is exactly why we built The Roseburg Plug in the first place. Getting out into our communities, meeting the people doing cool stuff, and helping more people see what’s happening right here at home.

There’s a FREE small business workshop happening in Coos Bay on September 14, and honestly, there’s some pretty relevant stuff on the agenda for businesses here in Douglas County too.

The Abundancy Concept is bringing together people from across Southern Oregon to talk business growth, workforce, regional trends, community resources and, of course, AI.

Aaron Larson with the Oregon Small Business Development Center Network will be talking about The AI Advantage for Small Business, including practical ways businesses can use AI to save time, cut down on busywork and grow.

The 15th Annual Umpqua Brew Fest brought craft b**r, live music, local organizations, and plenty of community spirit to downtown Roseburg all while supporting the work of Umpqua Watersheds.
